Stu – So now do we have all the information we need to update the table we were making earlier for the opening of the train doors, to show, not what intuitively happens, but what actually happens?

Ed – Let’s see. Let’s work through the table one row at a time, and see how far we can get.

Stu – OK.

Ed – The first thing we need to do is to go back to the very first rows we did. Do you remember these from step one?

Stu – Yes. It shows different speeds for you and me for light. But we know that’s not correct, so for step nine, our table would start out like this:
